Memories of a Patchwork Quilt

This collection brings together works that investigate the limits of material and visual transformation, with research into painting and enameling on ceramics as its central axis. From continuous compositions of colors and textures, the pieces are fragmented into modules and reorganized — in a process that evokes the stitching and memory of a patchwork quilt —, giving rise to new abstract and dynamic panels that reject absolute control over the final result.

The openness to the unpredictable and the gesture of dismantling and reassembling constitute the very backbone of this collection. Each assembly reveals unprecedented configuration possibilities, inviting the spectator to assume an active role as co-author in reading the work.

Moving with fluidity between painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, sewing, and installation, the presented ensemble celebrates artistic curiosity as the engine for the continuous reinvention of matter and image.
