About the artwork
The patchwork blanket connects pieces of ourselves with threads of memory. The work evokes the flesh-and-blood formation of our being through the time we live and the memories we collect.
The vitrification of the pieces forms unique, singular pieces of our persona, immutable yet at the same time light and moldable by the connections of our intellect.
Each fragment is complete in itself, yet forms part of a whole of ours that changes and molds itself to its receptacle, its contour, its habits.
